wireless adapted media

In cooperation with the Axel Meyer television production and the Videonet GmbH we investigate the possibility to generate wireless adapted content. In brief we are working on the raw video material to achieve a low data rate after the encoding process. This work is focusing on wireless end systems with small displays and low hardware complexity. The goal of our work is to enable first and simple multimedia services breaking new ground and generating new market potential. Advanced multimedia services will follow as soon as the wireless air interface support higher data rates and customers are willing to pay for it.
